A good Polyester/Bristle Blend or Foam Brushes and a Stain Applicator for applying all stains and finishes. You may also use Lint-Free Cotton Rags to wipe on stains and oil finishes. To get into those tight spaces using a Toothbrush and a Wire-Brush. Use Steel Wool for smoothing oil based finishes between coats. Use 120-220 Grit Sandpaper between coats when using water based finishes.Steel Wool may rust if used on water based finishes.
